Baptism:

First Penance and First Communion:
Our First Penance and First Communion program is a three year program for students attending a non-Catholic school and two years for those who attend a Catholic school. Please note that children enrolled in Catholic schools will not receive these sacraments at school or with their class. It is Diocesan policy that our Catholic school students receive these sacraments in the church parish in which their family is registered. Confirmation:
The Confirmation program is a three year formation program that usually begins with a student's freshman year in high school. Please note that all students are required to attend classes between their First Communion and the beginning of their Confirmation formation. For more information please contact Mrs. Charlotte Milson, Director of Religious Education, at (337) 837-3101.
Reconciliation:
Reconciliation is held every Saturday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and on weekdays following weekday masses at St. Joseph or by appointment. Please call the Parish Office at (337) 837-6218 to make an appointment.
Marriage:
Couples should contact the priest six months before the wedding date. NO wedding date should be planned until the Marriage Preparation has been completed.
Anointing of the Sick:
This Sacrament of healing is given to a person who is seriously ill or in danger of death due to sickness or old age. Elderly people may be anointed if they are in a weak condition though no dangerous illness is present. Please contact the Parish office at (337) 837-6218 to schedule a visit.
